If I had to guess, it would sound like something they would say in Chicago.
-
G4231,
Yep, I knew someone would say that.
The rider is competitive but the bike
wouldn't really be.
Most riders on here would beat me with a
TY80, but a Sherco is a more competitive bike.
-
Speaking of that same news thing. I saw Debbie and Daniel on 2 wheeled tuesday.
It looked like the same footage. It was about a law in Riverside Ca.
Lane do you live there? If not, that gives one an inkling of the news bias and
how stupid they seem to think the public really is.
-
Dang man. You really know how to make a guy feel bad!
I was at an RV place Sunday and a guy was cleaning his
RV, I said "don't let your wife see you do that, she'll
want you to clean up all the time" he says, "I have to sell
this RV because we are getting a divorce!"
Open mouth, insert foot!
Back on topic, easier for Novices, harder for everyone else.
Look me up at the Youth Nationals or the WR, I'll be the guy
setting up trophies with a Hebo boot in my mouth!
-
Chris, what kind of fruit is a peaple? Cross between a Peach and an Apple?
-
I can't even imagine that Honda would build one but.
TLR 200 style, new 230cc engine. Street legal.
Correct gearing. Electric start. Good use of alloy
to try to get the weight under 200 lbs. Modern geometry.
Monoshock.
Nigel's right though, a person couldn't use it competitively
in a trial I'm afraid.
-
I rode a vintage "Scottish Style" event at Bob Ginders a month or so ago.
I rode the 2 line and it was perfect for me. We had 18 or 20 sections and we rode them I think 3 times. What I loved about it was at the end of the day there wasn't a section that I hadn't cleaned but I still had a fair amount of points. Very challenging yet cleanable if I did everything right.
BTW, imagine a 250 plus pound rider on a TL 125 riding these too!
Poor little bike.
Most fun I've had in a long time (besides that, you pig).
-
Plastics engineer for a hot runner company.
Also laser engraving, awards, number plates, trophies, medallions,
(mostly trials related) part marking, licence plates etc.
-
OK, I'm going to burst everyones bubble here.
TRIALS IS PARTICIPANT SPORT.
There is no huge climax like the end of a race. (shut up!)
Spectators don't all understand the rules. (most riders have questions now and then too)
The ones that mostly want to watch World Round trials events are already on a trials bike.
What other sport see's people helping their competitors and cheering for them?
What would be fun is to try to set up an event with the BIG MX, Road Racing, Woods riders all competing in a trial with say, our Youth National Champs, Women Champs and our SR riders. No Pro's.
Now, wouldn't it be fun to see how they would stack up?
Rant Over and out!

If you think Speedway needs a lot of room, you've never been to the track in Owego NY.
BTW, don't confuse Speedway with Flat Track.
-
It takes a Village eh, I knew you were a closet Clintonesta!
-
Take a look on Honda Trials, maybe it will show you what it is.
-
I couldn't tell you a thing about MX.
Joel Robert? Brad Lackey? one of those two I'm sure.
-
Alright Andy! Yer making me laugh out loud, folks here at work think I'm reading dirty jokes! Good thing I'm not a coffee drinker or I'd need a new keyboard and
some windex.
-
Ken, your obviously a very bright guy, hang around!
-
The women's championship is not a joke here either.
I watched Louise take the Youth Nationals and the Women's
Champ at the same time 2 years ago. She was the best at both
and beat the boys at there own game. Laia is no joke,
Debbie is no joke.
It would only be a joke if someone entered and got a 5 intentionally
on every section just for national standings, that would cheapen the
sport, don't you think?
-
My daughter is 3, maybe I enter her on her tricycle and she will be
Women's World Champ!
-
Lane, looks like you forfit and Ringo is the first world champ!
-
The kids in the Youth Nationals ride the same line for 2 years.
This in effect has the kids competing against younger kids one year
and older kids the next.
Sure the trophies are designated for the age group, but I know you
don't want to take trophies away from kids, do you?
I also believe that the kids can move up a line if they want to
for competitive reasons, or even down a line and ride in exhibition.

Please keep us up to date on this, I've been trying for ages to find a good trick for drum brakes.
I'll give it a shot too.
-
What the....?
Are they riding there in a surrey with a fringe on top too?
-
Something that rymed with the word pit would work.
Hmmm, lets see. Nit Pit?, nah, Hit Pit?, nah.
Git Pit?, closer but nah. Try as I might I can find
the right word!
