I remember John He rode the old bike until the early eighties against all the modern bikes of that time. Mid 80's he joined our running club in Derby and ran in half marathons. -
Yes you need speedo, horn, number plate, tax, mot and insurance and as far as I know , at least for the last 30 years that's it. But I was stopped by the Police at a Trial this year and told that you should have a break light, if you are travelling faster than 25 mph. So as anyone else been told this

I think class E is for over 50's on modern bikes. so if your bike fits another class, then you have to ride in that class
