I remember John He rode the old bike until the early eighties against all the modern bikes of that time.
Mid 80's he joined our running club in Derby and ran in half marathons.
Yes you need speedo, horn, number plate, tax, mot and insurance and as far as I know , at least for the last 30 years that's it.
But I was stopped by the Police at a Trial this year and told that you should have a break light, if you are travelling faster than 25 mph.
So as anyone else been told this
I've ridden this trial before 2 laps of 20 It's a good trial well worth a go.
But I can't remember exactly where the start is I have found Green Moor road on Map,
Can anyone help.

Hattori turned up at Clifton Ashbourne Derbys a couple of times in 1979. I was just starting out on an old tl 125. I'm not sure if he felt sorry for me on the old Honda but he gave me a go on the White 200, much to the suprise of all the local aces of that time. I remember he won one trial but was beaten I think by Steve Brownlee at the other
I was there, Me and my mate took our Armstrongs along, we rode some of the course between the two days filming.
My mate even managed to get on to the top of the Transit, But then he had to get down the other side!!!
