  1. Hi guys, My 2001 Rev3 came without a kill switch, so I have set myself the arduous task of fitting one, and have bought is a Yamaha style, 2 wire switch. Now I have read loads of different posts about this, but cant find one that matches what I see. (I can see no loose black and white wire that many seem to mention) Any help or suggestions would be gratefully recieved. Thanks!
  2. Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade the standard brakes on my 2001 Beta Rev 3, as the standard ones have seen better days... Anybody know where I can get replacement or aftermarket brake systems/levers/calipers from?? Cheers!

    Brake Troubles.....

Cheers for the replies fellas... I've got a new twist to my tale now though... I've put a service kit in the master cylinder, which is fine, but now, when i open the bleed nipple a fraction to release the pressure, i am getting fluid coming up past the threads, not just from the middle of the valve, and subsequently gett ing brake fluid all over!! Any thoughts????

    Brake Troubles.....

Thanks Graham, I had hoped nobody would say that... but at the same time suspected they would. I really have no idea where the air is going (or coming in...) :-(
  5. Hey guys, Anybody out there know where i could get spares for an AJC brake caliper to fit a 2001 Beta Rev3??? (Either local to Yorkshire or mail order) I cant seem to get the current one to bleed properly, and it seems as though the bleed valve isn't seating properly when slightly undone. The pistons were also seized when i got it, but managed to free them off, but brakes still real spongy. I'm thinking new caliper, unless anyone can help with ideas.... Cheers!!
  6. Hi everyone, I have just purchased a 2001 Rev3 that has had some running time, but has done a bit of standing still in someone's shed. Anyway, firstly i cant seem to keep any pressure in the front brake, even after hours of bleeding and taking the caliper apart, although i still cant see any leaks.... Secondly, the bike seems to run out of steam in all the gears after about 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. The engine doesn't die, but it feels like its hitting a rev limiter on a sports bike!! As I've said, i'm completely new to these types of bike, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
