  1. Joe's 2014 and 2013 Evo 125's were stolen last night from his Garage in Idle. Anybody hears anything get in touch with Joe or his Dad or contact the local Police.
  2. Seems like The area has a nasty set of scrotes at the moment. Joe Faunthorpe has had two Beta Evo 125's stolen now from Idle. I think every rider should be looking to see who is watching them.
  3. LHM is correct. Give away is that the fluid is Green.
  4. The Standard JTG works pretty well with a measured delivery of power. My Son has a 300 with a Keihin that is rather rapid on pickup so you can change it to your requirements. He did try a 300 Sherco and as he put it it delivered the power but a bit far up the rev band for him. He wanted the power to come in and keep delivering. The Sherco was a bit laggy. It had the power but it arrived a bit late.
  5. New Breather filler fitted with old breather capped off.

Nedw Breather filler cap with old Breather capped off
  8. The Old Breather came out just by pulling with Pliers. I then gently tapped in the cap. The instructions recommend a bit of glue on it but it is a tight fit. You will need a short bar of some kind unless you have a small hammer/Mallet. It does go in just don't be impatient.
  9. It's just a case of pulling it out using pliers and tapping in the supplied "plug" to the old hole. The New Filler screw cap is a lot more sophisticated than just a cap with a hole and you need a 13 mm spanner rather than an Allen key. I will post a few photos when I change the oil this week. I haven't seen any oil in the new pipe thus far.
  10. It's arrived and I have fitted it. The Seal cap for the old breather is a tight fit but it's in and secure. The Filler plug is a 13mm spanner and a length of tube was supplied. First run out looks promising I will be changing the oil this week and we'll see if it blows.
  11. Depends, As jordi says the Dellorto should have a rubber spacer that the Airbos trumpet slides onto. The Kehin usually does not however but it is a good fit. It should not just fall off.
  12. Ordered one of the Filler caps to see how well it does. See how good my German is as well!!!!
  13. Have a look at Retrotrials Website. He is a big advocate for the JTG but you'll get an idea of how they ride.
  14. Just stay on the Nov/Beg and Club Courses and enjoy it!!! Anything else and it gets a bit serious.
  15. Locally in Yorkshire there are the Clubman and the Centre Gradings. You only are graded if you compete on the Hard course at Centre Trials. The Grades are Expert. They generally finish in the top 15% in the Centre Trials at least three times during a year. Intermediates in the top 30% three times. The Novice class is for new riders, and those who finish outside those criteria. Generally once you are in a class above novice you stay there for three years unless you move up. Experts not maintaining their status drop to Inter before dropping to Novice. Usually there is also the Clubman class split into Adult, Over 40 and Over 50. These are riders who do not ride the main course due to inexperience, injury or age. There is usually a Harder course for the better Clubman these days it's a 50/50 with the Hard course but others a seperate course is laid At Club Trial level these grades are kept and an Easier Clubman B course is usually plotted. Novice Beginners are really for Clubmen and Beginners so are not that hard. Again though most have a A and B course for Clubmen. Other Centres do it differently.
  16. Sent a mail about the cap. Seesm you shut off the Breather pipe and only use the one on the Cap.
  17. Still seems to be stock of the boots and they are imported by Gas Gas UK. If you don't mind the Postage the Associated Trailsenduro website seems to have stock. Link is on GasGasUK's home page.
  18. We have got the Keihin Working well. It is very quick though. Seemingley it's a case of playing with the jets and the slide. Chris has a different setting to those others use. I also found that if the plug gap is too close the bike runs rough. The little pipe seems to do a good job. The Oil does go up the Breather tube but unlike before it drops when rev's are taken off. I may increase the length as a little still comes out if he really revs the motor.
  19. Hi GG249UK. We are only using 400ml and this fill was done by Andy at Pennine after the Box was totally drained after the cover broke. I noticed the tightness of the chain on adjustment and when at rest It just clears. No problems with the gear selection Chris thinks it is spot on at the moment.
  20. As stated in the Oops! thread another update added was the Costa Special Parts Bash Plate. The old one doesn't work so well with Chris riding!! Pictures on the Oops Thread. The rear Screws have been replaced by longer threaded screws with a Ny-Lok nut to hold the bash plate more securely. We also have a problem with oil coming up the breather. OSSA have a mod as they have similar problems and we are trying that out. It is just a Bigger diameter tube of about 10cm length slipped over the end of the existing tube. The problem is down to any oil getting into the breather drawing more up the tube. Capillary action is the technical term. Think of the Thorny Devil Lizard.
  21. As Promised New Bash Plate. And in Action before hurting his knee.
  22. Damage was "limited" to the Lugs being knocked off the case. Delay down to the Clutch mech under the case being different so the new case needed the New Mechanism. I gather it's aluminum rather than Steel. Inner case was just a little bent and was straightened. New Bash Plate already showing it's mettle. The Costa Special Part is thicker and Pennine have used longer rear bolts with Ny-lok nuts to hold it on. Chris was having a good ride at the Spen Valley Trial At Tong when he the bike fell on his knee at Section 10. Still hobbling today.
  23. Bike is repaired and has a CSP bashplate. Picking up tomorrow and photos will follow!
  24. It's around £200 and covers the bike in Transit to Events or Practice areas as well. I DId try BikeSure who also do Off road Policies but I though the Excess was a bit high for me.
  25. I have the Jotagas with Carole Nash at £5500. Some of the operators just go "computer says no!".
