  1. Also available on www.yeadon-guiseleytrials.co.uk Looks like they have been released today.
  2. I've checked the Dirt Bike list and it has been corrected. Craig remains in the "Championship" class. The "other" Robinson is Liam Robinson. I think that Rich Sadler is out of this round. It seems that he has a Hand injury sustained before the Colmore.
  3. I posted the original list at 8:20PM and have added John Battersby and Zac Sherwin since. This means that there are 56 Riders instead of the required 55. I'll check back later and see what else has changed.
  4. You need to watch this page on their Website. Ilkley Events Looks like they haven't an entry form up yet or they have the entries already in. I'd click on contacts and get in touch with Neil Raven. His Number is on the site as is a web mail button.
  5. The following riders have been given entries for the Round at Westwood. Taken from the Dirtbike action website. 6. When they came out I compared the 80 to a 2006 GasGas125 and they were similar. The "lowest" seat point on the Beta was actually a little bit higher so if he has trouble with a GasGas Pro then he'll be a little small still for the Big wheel 80.
  7. Unfortunately there isn't a "best" bike. They all have foibles and strengths and how you ride is pretty much the guide to it. Zippy and bouncy Gas Gas. Steady away a Beta REV3 or Yamaha engined Scorpa, some where in between a Sherco. It's not an exact science. I'd buy on condition, then once you KNOW how you ride and what you need you will be really in trouble because Modern bikes are getting pretty close to each other and it's really hard to pick the best FOR YOU. And the only way to do it is to ride as many as possible and go with the one you like.
  8. Just sent you a message about a bike we know of in the Yorkshire Centre. The lad is now a Novice and is selling to get a 250.
  9. For those who have not yet received forms via Email or post they are available on the Yeadon Guiseley Web Site. The Trial is to be held on the 10th April and entries must be received before the 28th of March.
  10. Yeadon Guiseley And DMC are looking for a new date to run the Trial following the cancellation Earlier this month. Please keep an eye on Trialscentral and the Yeadon Guiseley Site for further updates.
  11. Generally A plastic cover over the card big enough for the Pencil and your hand to fit under does the job.
  12. Just to conclude this thread. Seems it is now sitting better after T-UK had a look at it. It's taking the screws with no problems. Of course now the "Gas" tank stickers have come off!!
  13. Where did that come from??? We now have a Expert List. Expert A and Youth A list and now a three tier Expert B list. Looks like the Gap year was a waste of time.
  14. Hard to say without knowing which ones you tried. However The Airoh "Rock" does seem to suit a lot of riders and it is very light.
  15. Mainly getting the Bl**dy thing back on!!!! The Kick start Side bolt will not "hold" in the Screw clip as it goes in at the wrong angle. I've tried all means to get the two holes aligned but the damn thing just won't hold. The Bike has the SXS frame protectors but they don't seem to be the problem. Any Ideas??
  16. I should find out soon. Keep An eye on Yeadon Guiseley's website, (powered by TC!!).
  17. Due to rising water levels at Keighley Gate the Trial on the 6th has had to be cancelled. The levels are already too high to run the trial and the forecast is for more rain overnight.
  18. Sounds like the float isn't set correctly. A lot of riders do set the fan to run constantly but even so a Thermostat is not a large amount of cash. Depends on the year as to fitting though. The Tube framed bikes tend to have it in an accessible position. The earlier ones can be awkward.
  19. I'd have said that she easily had the talent. Let's not forget how well she did on the 125 against her and the other adult riders this year.
  20. Just to clarify I love Spen and Horsforth Trials and we have been doing them for a number of years. Now Tips on both venues Get there about 15 mins before the start and have a look at how to enter, who is the secretary and where the entry forms are. Saves time later on. You'll also get an insight into the bikes, the best way to carry them and the best gear to wear. At both wear a good pair of boots. The Stalwarts is muddy off the old Railway line and you may have to cross a stream or boggy ground to get a good view. If you are taking kids make sure they understand that the bikes can hurt them and the best places to stand to avoid getting tangled up. Most riders have children of their own so are tolerent. And be careful not to get in the way in the sections. Even the riders fall foul of this one! At Both Venues it is possible to park on the road rather than use the field. If you aren't used to parking in fields,(especially at this time of year!!), or haven't a 4x4 it might be best to do this until you know what you are getting into . The last Stalwarts had parking in the owners yard. At the Stalwarts there is an old railway line embankment that follows the course. However most sections are at the bottom of the banks either side so you may have to negotiate the slopes to get a better view. Sections usually go anti clockwise or clockwise from section one up one side of the embankment to the Railway tunnel(shut off so no problem), and back down the track bed and around a wooded area before coming back over the bank. (that's anti clockwise, turn it around if the course is running clockwise). Deer Park is more of a escarpment venue. It's mainly rocks in a shallow incline. It's only boggy in places and the initial sections tend to be closer to the car parking and road than the Stalwarts. Usually the section numbers increase going away from the car park and at least two can be seen from one vantage point. Hence once you get to the last section it's a blast back to section 1. Both clubs are very friendly and you'll see a variety of bikes old and new. You can join the club there abd get your ACU form stamped ready for sending off. Whichever one you go to make sure you are warm and enjoy it!!
  21. The Club course will be OK but it will on previous years evidence be muddy and difficult in places. I like the venue but it is the Stalwarts and I like Spen Trials but it is a "different" trial to normal and we won't be there this year as we are still getting the bike "ridden" in.
  22. Personally I'd "do" Horsforth. Spen is a compact course but it will be "snotty". Deer Park is only a little longer but it is Linear. It's easier to trundle up and down.
  23. The wording is as follows "5 Routes: A & B Championships Route A
  24. Locally to me an old shape L200 was used to carry two Rev3/Evo's and a Rev80 with the tail gate down. Also regularly see two bikes in a Navara with the gate up.
  25. Which idiot thought this up this one?? It's hardly as though the organising clubs aren't experienced enough to produce two or more routes for a Trial? I can only think that the meaning has been shrouded because the author needs to study his grammar. I HOPE it means that the A & B classes EACH have their own Championship route with an alternative easier route to be ridden on a non-championship basis.
