  1. Cannot say I have heard anything about this mob. And I've been around Trials in this area for over 14 years. I'd avoid.
  2. What electrical Problems? The Mappings needed changing for the UK but ours is running fine.
  3. Of course the Honda's are above the limit who do you think lobbied for that higher limit?? The bikes have been closer to 60KG in WTC trim than 70 for years. Only Honda would have to expend money on exotic materials to meet a lower limit. As it stands Vertigo's Titanium frame bike would probably really blow the limit and it probably won't be as expensive as the more exotic Honda's
  4. I found the Nut needs to be tight and the Bolt loose in the mount. That seems to stop it either tightening or loosening.
  5. nigel dabster lecturing people on "attitude"
  6. Now how did I miss that reply?? My Comment was based on feedback from several clubs and riders "out and about". I don't doubt you can find many suggestions that have been implemented the rub is how many were ignored or put down because they came from the wrong direction/club/people. Personally I have stopped because any "new" idea unless it comes from the same old sources usually get nowhere. And lets face it the meeting was cancelled due to lack of interest. Perhaps a better attitude would help as well.
  7. Not Had a problem with the petrol cap. You are right on the Plug. It's the same as the JGAS so it's a different spanner size. I have a Maplin's Hybrid rechargeable which should be a bit better for recharging but the original battery is still in and working.
  8. It's better built than any bike we have had before. The Air box is in the right place. I only change it once every couple of months. I would carry another PP3 battery just in case the rechargeable goes flat. If its a standard non rechargeable then take it off once started and put the chargeable one back once the bike is running. The Foot levers etc seem thicker than those used on other bikes and are nicely tucked away. Generally seems "beefier" without being a heavy bike.
  9. I have bought a Maplin Hybrid rechargeable battery. Not put it on yet but it comes charged. I have a few Duracell Akeline batteries as well. Just get them off ASAP as they get quite warm if you don't.
  10. In the UK the current Vertigo Cambat Camo is £5750 The Gas Gas 250 is £5450.
  11. Now Available. http://www.trialscentral.com/sub-headlines/18381-2017-vertigo-models-enter-production
  12. Clutch change seems a good idea. Heard a few riders were having problems with the old one.

Raga will be where he has the best deal. If TRS can put it together then that's where he will be.

There is one around here but we have yet to see it. My thoughts are that Ross Danby does not seem to doing as well this year as he did last on the JGAS. Could be down to riding style or even that he was really used to the JGAS having ridden it a few years though. However I don't see many finding homes around here at the moment.
  15. Been down to the last Open Trials Practice at Tong and the sections look good. A few riders commented on the more "Natural" sections away from the Lake including section 4 which many felt would be a decider.
  16. As I understand it AJP went bankrupt a few years ago. The firm was bought and the Braketec products released to replace them. There was a break in production hence the usage of Formula Brakes which didn't work as well for Trials M/C's. The Braketec Products are AJP with a bit of development. AJP hadn't changed the design or price in years which lead to their demise. I have heard that HOPE have dabbled in designing and tested Brakes for Trials M/C's but if that's true they are keeping them well under their hat.

    Ossa Misfire

Had a similar problem a few months back. Some screws had worked loose in the engine causing a sensor problem. Have a word with Birkett if you are in the UK.
  20. We use the Dual Domino grips pictured. I use wd40 to get them on then Wire them to the bars. That's what the gaps in the outer material are for. You use a Grip Pliers to twist the ends of the wire and get the ends into the "notches" so the tags do not catch your gloves.
  21. We can now report that in Map4 full throttle going up hills the noise is really good!!!
  22. I think Most people in Leeds send wheels to C. Wylde's Just off Kirkstall Road. I'd give them a ring first as I think they are mainly online these days.
  23. The clutch is more to Chris's liking. Positive, dis-engages completely with no slip and has some spring in the lever. it's also pretty solid but does not feel weighty. As per the Ossa It's powerful and the grip is enormous. It feels newer so the brakes are very positive and everyting is tight. He is getting used to the slight position changes but it is feeling very good so far.
  24. Chris has put about 6 hours on his. It was delivered Friday.
  25. Plenty about the area. We're up in North East Leeds.
