  1. I know Matt Chambers of X-Blok does them. TrialsUK have some in stock. As for whether they work? I think it's a bit of a curates egg. You need to tell them which one you want by the way.
  2. The Charity Trial at Dob Park on the 28th is on. Trial Start at 10:30am. Please DO NOT park on the lane. See you there.
  3. In Gas Gas 's case i I have been told it's an engine supply problem. The Maker went "belly up" and they are trying to find another supplier. Beta just aren't doing any. I think it's due to the small market.

    Thanks!

Many Thanks to the Lads who pulled me out of Tong Yesterday. It Was much appreciated!!!!!
  5. I'm with bdmc on the original scenario. As for the engine stop No marks lost providing the "foot" doesn't hit the ground. If they use a knee or elbow then it's marked as a "foot" and a five is issued. As for flags a rider has to remove them, ride over them or around them to get a five. Another rider removes them whilst standing in the section they are told to put it back and if they don't they'll get a "10". Any doubt as to who removed the flag goes to the rider I.E. no marks dropped if I didn't see who pulled the flag. I have had other riders complain about this, but as they are often the reason I couldn't see the offence, TOUGH.
  6. So Beta aren't bringing in any REV50's any more and Gas Gas haven't got any of the 50's either. D class medium wheel is looking a little sparse. Still good thing is that if you have a REV50 Or Geared Gas Gas 50 the price will go up!
  7. Disadvantages are that it does not fit the standard reed block so you need to buy the adapter from a Gas Gas Dealer. You need to set them up as follows Main 118, pilot 42, needle JJH with clip on middle, 3.5 slide. I think that you can also try the 115 Main but that's a good starting point. Advantages are that they run sweeter and pick up faster and with more power thru the rev range.
  8. Basically Fat Bars flex less than the traditional Bars. As such riders who trick ride prefer them as they have better "feel" for that type of riding. That is on the back wheel. You pull up and they are precise about doing it. The traditional bars work best when you ride "with" the front wheel which is to say it follows the ground more.
  9. NYL really likes the SIDI Trials boots. He's had two pairs(growing lad) and is planning on getting a spare pair. His current ones are the White version.
  10. We used a Kehin Jetted for a 125 so the Standard Jets on a Dellorto should be ok.
  11. It Certainly increases the Power!! There is also an Insert that increases Bottom end on the 125. It fixes into the head outlet and the pipe inlet.
  12. Turn the tyre when the first line on the blocks starts to fade and you get good grip for another month or so.
  13. Only Driven one on Hire so cannot comment on reliability, however it is a Wide van. So much so That I felt I was a long way inside the cabin and had to look around the side of it. I have also driven the Combo which feels a lot less bulky. The Van also is over the weight limit for "Car derived vans" and so you are limited to running 10 mph below the limit on most roads. Combo 1.3cdti had a better engine and driving position but the Connect had a bigger "Box". Last thing to mention is that it's built in Turkey and that does not inspire confidence in me. Leeds United fans may also have an issue with that.

    Bbc Spooks

Basically the Iplayer won't let you watch the "new" series od "Spooks" (airing now in the UK) because you have a US Proxy address. If you can find a UK Proxy that is a way around the problem. Obviously "Torchwood" went down very well in the US as well as the UK. "Primeval" is also popular. New stuff could include "Paradox" coming soon on the BBC.
  15. Lad we know Has tried both and gone Gas Gas this year. Bit of a departure for him as he has ridden Beta Since Small Wheels!!
  16. As well as the Kehin try a S3 Titanium front pipe. For more power try the "Short" pipe.
  17. There's a bit more to this than meets the eye. For a start Polanski was all set to take his punishment and do the time, however the Trial Judge was trying to make himself into a celebrity. This led to a farcical mess that led to the Judge being told to retire or face the courts himself. Because of this Polanski was advised to leave the country. The Circumstances of the offence at that time weren't that extreme either, (Look it up). I believe he has tried to come to some sort of arrangement in years past but as the years have gone by the Justice department have got meaner. Even if they get him back to the US the principal witness has stated She will not testify.
  18. I got one for a Gas Gas from a place in Barnsley Andy doesn't like. All in cost about
  19. NYL has one on the back and He rides such venues as Addingham Moorside quite successfully.
  20. The Brawn car is a mule. It's had six inches lopped off the chassis to accommodate the Mercedes engine. The Gearbox was designed to mate with the Honda and a mod had to be made to pickup the Engine output. The Cooling and aero is compromised because the Honda ran symmetrical exhausts and the Merc doesn't. It is prone to setup problems because of this. Jenson also had to adjust his driving style as the Brakes were changed to accommodate a new sponsor half way though the season. Qualifying was compromised by this. He has however RACED his way to better positions in the races. In the process He has overtaken cars ON THE TRACK which many of his rivals have failed to do. He has also only failed to finish once this year and that was the only time He finished outside the points. Even when he couldn't overtake them on the track his pace in free air between pit stops was blistering. Nobody could match his mid race pace in those circumstances and that put him ahead of his rivals on several occasions. As previously stated Hamilton won by one point last year and it took him until the last corner of the last lap to do it. Yes the Brawn over the season was the best car, but arguably the Ferrari was last season's best car and despite the assistance of the FIA neither Massa or Raikkonen could eventually beat Hamilton. Team and driver discipline was lacking. Other drivers, Barrichello took seven races to beat Button, Vettel couldn't take the Pressure when Button went after Him in Turkey despite having the "better" car on raceday. Webber was at best inconsistent, at worst way too aggressive. Able to race well when starting at the front but getting involved in pointless car damaging moves when somebody threatened to overtake. Hamilton, Massa and Raikkonen had cars that were not the class of the Brawn at the start of the season. But they also were not the class of the Red Bull, Williams or Toyota either. The fact that they came back to hopefully finish well speaks well of the development they could throw at their problems as well as the competitive nature of their drivers.
  21. Bloody typical!!!! lets set some things straight. 1 Button won the Championship this year with a race to spare and even if he doesn't finish will still have 5 points lead after the last race. Last Year Hamilton won on the last lap by one point. 2. Brawn did have the best car and it's diffuser was protested. However Both the Williams and Toyota had the same advantage as did Barrichello. None of those made the best use of the car. Even since the other cars gained the aero that Brawn had, Button has maintained a gap to the rest of the field of over 10 points. 3. You do need a good car to win the World Drivers championship. However with 3/4 of a second covering the field in qualifying it could be said that everybody has a chance to win. Button took that chance when he was able and maximised the points when he wasn't. Barrichello, Vettel and Webber too often fell off the track or got involved in race incidents to really chanllenge Button. 4. At San Paulo Button put in four overtakes that allowed Brawn to put him on the "Safer" two stop strategy. It was "safer" as the Prime tyre was the best on the track and the softer option was marginal. Hamilton started on the Soft and the safety car meant they could go a three stop strategy using the "Prime" tyre for nearly all the race. Lewis did a few overtakes to get there but not as many as Button. Vettel Stuck to the one stop and that just put him behind Hamilton and in front of Button. It nearly paid off as the track came to the Soft but nearly's don't count.
  22. Novice covers a large number of riders. Many Are clubman but some are Youths on their way to Intermediate level or Older riders coming down the scale especially at Centre events. Look out for the Novice/Beginners series as the course tend to be set for riders who are starting out. Usually you will have the absolute beginners course with a harder Novice one for those who have a few rides under their belt.
