  1. Should have them later this week. Quite a feat to get under 100 on the A class course. Looks like most didn't ride all the sections.
  2. Rumours about a A class rider changing make this weekend. Richard Sadler is Entered along with the "usual" suspects and Joanne Coles will be riding fresh from Her Ladies world podium. A class is down to 16 riders but a healthier turnout in the B class.
  3. I had one built for NYL's 2009 Gas Gas. With Everything new (DID rim and Spokes, Hub, Disc, Sprocket and tyre), the cost was in the late
  4. One chance a year to run at Brimham Rock. This Sunday 28/06 11:00am with a Butty Van As well!!
  5. The Rough Holden Venue above Silsden is available for practice. See Bradfords site for directions an pay the Farmer in the house on the right.
  6. Sad to hear but I gather that some excluded riders were convinced they had ridden sections and been missed as a crowd of riders rushed through. Is Richard Sadler OK??? It was reported that he thought he had Broken his Wrist but still managed to finish.
  7. Personally most of that is weekly with the exception of Oil and Bearings. I check Bearings weekly and change the Gearbox oil monthly. The Bike is used every weekend however.
  8. There's Bumpy at Birstall which has recently uprated it's trials facilities. Join Horsforth and Swaine Woods is available.
  9. I'll add a new section to the Website. Ians' Rocks is just off the A59 Harrogate to Skipton road. The turn Off is opposite the Fewston Reservoir Car park. It's Signposted Greenhow, Blubberhouses, and Pateley Bridge. The Road is called Hardisty Hill. Ians' Rocks is on the right and it will be flagged from the road. Ians Rocks
  10. NYL's has had one fitted to his Gas Gas 125's since 2006. Having used the Sachs while the Ohlins was being rebuilt his conclusion is that the Ohlins is more progressive and gives better feedback than the Sachs. The Sachs feels "clunky" compared to the Ohlins.
  11. Don't know the distributor but Woosters in Leeds seem to sell a large number.
  12. So does that mean that All the effort is now wasted?? What is the situation with Nord Vue??
  13. What should be Static items on the Website such as Trial dates and standings only exist under News Items. Hence to find the Dates for the Youth Championships means going back to January in the Trials News section!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Look out for Graham Jarvis Training Days. He runs them all over the country but Tong near Leeds and Bradford is regularly used.
  15. You are only allowed a 125 at your age but that isn't much of a problem. I would not discount the Beta REV3 125. It is a very stable bike which makes it very easy to start on, and it can do tricks as your riding improves. My own son prefers the Gas Gas as it is a Trick riders dream but that lightness also makes it easy to handle. It does rev to heaven and back again. The Sherco treads a middle course. If you are going out to Trials see if you can cadge a ride on all of them to see which suits you best.
  16. Now Available on the Yeadon Guiseley Website. Along with Entry Forms for the Wetherby Wainwright Shield and Mintex Trophy.
  17. It's another of Matt Chambers Invention's. He brought out the X-blok. TrialsUK have them in stock and I should imagine you can get them anywhere that stocks the X-blok.
  18. I don't think I'll be seeing many in sections though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Royal Enfield trials
  19. If you obtain Openoffice.org you can convert any file to PDF which is easy for anybody to view, print or save. Makes life easier for everybody.
  20. Basically the reason it was stopped was due to numbers. A couple of years ago there were close to a hundred riders at Youth Nationals. Add in another hundred minders and it gets too crowded. The numbers now are still respectable with about 50 to 60 starting at the next A & B national so it might be possible to allow them but then you have the problem if numbers rise again. It's why the British Nationals limit the number of riders.
  21. Close to Leeds the easiest to use is BUMPY in Birstall. If He joins the Horsforth Club then they have a practice area as well which is suitable for beginners. Tong is also usually available a couple of days a month but you have to phone and check or watch out on Horsforth's website as they also publish dates. BUMPY Horsforth Tong - Parkwood Off Road.
  22. Try Firefox Racing. They can rebuild Shocks.Firefox Racing.
  23. Results have been Posted on the Yeadon Guiseley website. Congratulations to Ian Austernuhle and Andy Chilton!!
  24. Very Sad news. A great character and ever present as an observer. I think a couple of generations of riders in Yorkshire will have "grown up" with him marking sections. Always rode to his section on his Honda or the little Kawasaki and never complained. I always remember him riding off after a trial with riders acknowledging him as he passed. Sadly that's all gone. He was on the way to the Ripon Trial that Sunday to observe with (I believe) his Grandson who was taken to Hospital. Rest In Peace Gordon.
  25. Try The YMSA Website YMSA.
