Most of the US Supercross races are on very early in the morning on Channel Five. along with Motorsport Mundial, Race and Rally Uk and Aussie V8 racing.

All being well we should have a Trialling Dentist soon.

It may not suffer from degradation in the cable but if the connectors are not properly shielded then RFI creates havoc with the signals. Don't forget these things carry both Audio and Video digital signals at very high bit rates. In the case of Dolby TrueHD it's 18Mbit's. As for aerial cable's I have found the pre made ones pretty awful. I buy my own plugs and cable and make my own.

Insurance is taken as part of the entry fee at ACU events. This covers againest third party liability. The Owner of the land is liable for third party cover and should make allowences for this in their fee's. It's one reason why practice areas are now so few. Many Landowners do not want to take the risk.

Anybody seen the entry list??? Sent an entry in for NYL but don't know if he's In?
-
To confirm Yeadon Guiseley's Charity Trial At Dob Park is on MONDAY The 29th December, NOT The 28th. TMX have it wrong (AGAIN).
-
Just had an Email from BDMC That Sundays trial is cancelled. Conditions in the area are too icy to risk running.
-
EEEKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's got me wondering!! NYL would love to do the round but that amout of cost on top of Van Hire etc is not going to be easy to justify to my other half. Th other thing that bothers me is the Return trip. Like the majority of dads(and a few competitors) I have to get to work the following day.
-
Doesn't look good for the Youth National in February then! We normally hire a Combo or Connect to get to the non local events but that type of cost could mean we wait for the second round before entering.

Jack Challoner, Danny Gamble and Joel Sadler were all at Addingham yesterday riding EVO's. Winning Start for Jack on his!!!!!!!
-
Forgot to mention the steering lock is impressive. You can almost get it coming back on you!!!!!!!!
-
A round of the Yorkshire Centre Championship at Addingham Moorside. Looks like at Least one Beta Evo will be there as well. Regs state 11:00 start. This Trial does have roadwork down to Emmotts but there is a Youth course that will stay at Addingham. As usual aSmall Wheels course will also be running for D and C class.
-
It actually looks pretty purposeful rather like the Lambo Reventon. No separate Air box cover which is a bit of a backward step and the front forks seem to have a lot more travel.
-
Dropped off NYL's Gasser Last night and had a look at a 250 Evo. Bike had been picked up from John that day and was one of the first in the country. I gather that there are only about a dozen about. Jack Challoner has one and there will be a couple at the Dirt Bike show.

The Guy who makes these is aware of this thread and has said that any "defective" X-blok should be replaced by the retailer. If you are having problems then get in touch with MRS who distribute them in the UK. The "defective" block will then be returned to him for inspection. As he said, and this is also my experience the X-blok does last longer and is much more resilient than the standard Chain tensioner block The design allows the minimum amount of metal used to be protected within the block. If you want to PM me with the retailers name, (don't post it due to forum rules), I'll pass the details to the maker.

Full Provisional list Here.
-
Provisional dates Isle Of Man on the 15th of feb followed by Yeadon And Guisley on the 22nd!!! Then down To Mansfield Maun on the 8th March!!

Can't think of any local club that charges more than a tenner to join. If you are in Yorkshire it's pretty easy to find a trial on somewhere in the area. This weekend Horsforth have their Charity trial down at Tong. It's a Saturday trial as Nobody runs on Rememberence Sunday and starts at noon if I remember right.

I'm here as well and My comments from Pistonheads stand. Sachs is living on Cleese and Booth's talent and has done for years. Let's face it I'm fed up with "Siberian Hamsters". Sachs Knows pretty well About his Grand daughters involvement with "Satantic Sluts" and that she screwed Brand. However he also to his credit has not wanted to be involved with the minority that have blown this situation beyond a joke. Brand is pretty much a curates egg, Ross however can put together a good interview and does a good job of Film 200x. He knows his target audience and not having him there on Friday night is really going to Kill BBC1. When it comes down to it Brand and Ross CAN live without the BBC. The BBC cannot live with alienating the audience they bring.

Speaking as an Observer I have two comments. Firstly I can five everybody at sections where TSR22B runs, that includes the best riders, (and I mean "the best" riders), because every trial I observe at requires a "stop" these days. Secondly I can three every rider under 2008 TSR22A rules. Riders get a lot of leeway as it stands and whinging about it does not change it. 2009 TSR22A rules will not change much excepting that I'd say that a few riders will take "the p***". If they do that on my sections I'll five them. That means I still have pressure because nobody likes being told they have had a five. So be it!!!!
-
It's quite easy to do that amount of trials up here in the Yorkshire Centre. A typical weekend could see you doing a Saturday YG, Barnsley, Bradford, Craven or Spen Valley trial at 1 followed by a blast up to do a Wetherby or Ripon Trials at 5:30. Then Any of those clubs plus Centre's will be running on a Sunday Morning!!. Then on Bank Holidays Somebody will be running as well. Makes Practice at weekends a bit redundant.
As for the X-blok's most experienced riders up here run them and yes I know exactly how they are constructed. The whole idea is that the plastic protects the metal. Did you enlarge the mounting holes on the carrier??
-
We have put one on our last two bikes and they have lasted really well. Certainly after braking two of the "standard" blocks in six months and having to replace those that didn't after four or five months riding they are a revelation. They also seem to be better when taking knocks as well. The size of the Standard block does cause the tensioner arm to "bend" after a couple of knocks causing more chain wear. We have more exposure than most to these blocks having seen the prototypes in development and having been "on the spot" when the idea came into being. I'd get back to the shop with them and get another. I'll have a word this weekend and see if there has been a batch problem.

Noticed He was excluded from the results for being "out of time". I was watching at section 4 and He did come round three times and looked to be having a good ride. I know that he did have problems with his CDI unit on the first section but I thought he'd got round in time.
