  1. If you are having problems try somebody local! There are a lot of these people about and maybe you local dealer knows them! That way you have a third party working on your behalf. I do know James Dabill had a Local dealer get his wheels done on the Beta so some of them should have this info.
  2. I'd watch out for Scarborough, Hull and Eboracum Trials on the North side of the Humber, S****horpe and North Lincolnshire south of the Humber. The swear filter likes to cut in on "Scunny" but you know where I mean. Scarborough have their own Venue at Low North Park near Harwood Dale. They can supply keys and passes for a fee to members which allows you to use the venue when it is not in use for Trials and Moto-X. Haven held a "open day" last weekend at a quarry just off the southern end of the Humber Bridge which I believe is available for practice. Might be worth popping in to Haven to discover if you can use it.
  3. No providing you are 17 you can ride "Out of class" on a lower course on bikes over 125cc. You just cannot revert back once you have done it.
  4. Is it the same venue as the A/B National,? we were looking forward to it! Still if it is the same place I can understand why it's being called off. Looks like We'll be at Scarborough this Sunday then!!
  5. If I could get on the Computer more Often We are on Firefox(haven't you noticed NYL's spelling's improved), As for Hosts, I've decided that fixing the DNS servers on the router and changing it's password should be more effective. Don't forget that Hosts is a file that can be "got at".
  6. Yep that's the site that gave me the clue's. Of course what have you been downloading???
  7. HMMM! desipte a firewall, AV Anti Spyware etc, somebody managed to get something thru and change my DNS settings. Redirected all *.co.uk domains to jupk.com. All settings have now been changed to manual and passworded. Just a little warning!
  8. Don't forget they have a Trial this Sunday (3rd December) at Cawthorne.

    Scooby

I think the pictures released are just one of the proposals. The idea of a smaller car is a good one tho!

Ahhhh! the Type25 might be nice but what about the Richard Burns Type 320. Released as a tribute to the sadly deceased World Champion. RB320 Cannot get my head around the current models shape. Now the new hatchback one they are readying looks interesting.
  11. In trying to get a pair of these For NYL I discovered that there are very few pairs left in the country. If anybody fancies a pair of these www.Behind-bars.co.uk have a limited number in black at

    Changing Coolant

Just done it on NYL's 125 Gas Gas. Empty out some coolant and use a Radiator Flush product. Run until the radiator fan turns then switch off and allow to cool for 5 mins. Empty and purge with fresh water. Then empty again and refill with the recommended mix of coolant and water,(usually 50/50 mix). Run with the radiator cap off until you don't have any air bubbling thru the system. Rev the engine and top up before replacing the cap.
  13. On a personal Note I would like to state I have had no problems dealing with <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> and have and will continue to recommend them. I would like to also state that i do know of several people who are more than satisfied with the service that has been supplied. Hopefully this is a indiscretion and will be dealt with by Tony and those at <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central>. As more than a few people know who I am and that I have no commercial connection with Tony and <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central. Please delete this post> they will know that I have only been a satisfied customer. I do look forward to having an Australian dealer I can chew up with no prior knowledge of their commercial operations in the future.
  14. What some people will do for a Improved contract!!!!!!!!!!!! I can see it now John Shirt and Simon Cowell trying to take over the world.
  15. Tough one to answer really as I had to stay At Addingham for NYL. The queue's there were manageable and NYL was one of the first 10 or so to finish. Was the problem at the new land or Rough Holden. Parking as usual was a lottery and we would like to flatten some of the area near the road but the land isn't ours and we have to abide by the Landowners request. And given the fact they are in there defying the council for Trials riders we'll abide by anything they request I have sent the results to Andy with a report so they should be here soon. If you cannot wait pop over to the YG website at www.yeadon-guiseleytrials.co.uk and click on results.
  16. How were the sections on the "new" land. I had NYL in "B" class so stayed at Addingham.
  17. There was a Trial at Addingham today!

    Filter

Yep always oil it. Even applies in dry weather where the Dust can cause you problems if it gets into the cylinder. As for patience I had problems getting the filter in the first couple of times but seem to "have the knack" now!
  19. Sunday 19th at 11:00. There is the promise of "new" land to add to the usual Addingham and Rough Holden sections. PLEASE NOTE that Youth and Conducted ARE RUNNING but will be within the Addingham Moorside Start venue. It will require roadwork for the Adult sections.
  20. NYL managed to knock one of his off completley at Bracken Rocks so am familiar with the problem. Also believe that others have done it as well. There is not an easy solution as the peg mounts are welded to the frame and protecting them could make the bike "ground" easily. Just find a good local welder seems to be the solution.
  21. I don't know! Do a Few nights at work where the Firewalls playing up again and I came back wondering where my post had got to. Still some interesting points and a bit of "horse trading" going on.
  22. Just got the A&B National at Richmond on DVD. It is a good effort despite no commentary(not a bad thing in my view). NYL is in it so had an interest but it turns out to be a good watch anyway. Looking at the footage I cannot believe how the sections don't look as bad as they did at the time. TV certainly makes the inclines look less impressive than they were "in person".
  23. One older recommendation. Ford Escort van. Loads of them about and relatively simple so easier to fix. New recommendation the latest Ford van the Transit Connect.
  24. The Combi can take two bikes straight in. The Partner I have seen used but the bike's in at an angle(are there different length versions??). I can say that I have seen the Old and New Combi, the Citroen Visa van(big box), the old Astravan Combi, VW Caddy's Old and new, the little Suzuki Carry's(small but long) with Trials bikes in them. Others might be worth a try but they would need to be checked for length.
