    Craven Dmc

I was up there for some reason the link is http://www.jglover.net/Results/results.htm but todays aren't up yet. Looked quite a good trial with only a couple of clean rides on My section Martin Crosswaite being one of them on the Hard course. The weather went from being Windy and Overcast to windy and sunny which meant the section's grip changed between groups of riders. Lovely Venue and a great view over the valley.

    Noisy Clutch

Silly but is it as simple as the lever being loose. Chris's 125 does it.
  3. Had this discussion before!!!! try this thread to for the various options. Don't get a Tecnho tho. It's an old design and for that money The later Rev-3 is attainable. The thread refers to clubs in the Yorkshire area so may not apply on that front. Ah I see you are an associate of an earlier poster and in the Leeds area ao the clubs will be useful. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5616
  4. Will you have anybody filming the Indoor event? I'm certain somebody would be interested.
  5. Mail StuartC, He'l know any upcoming regulation.
  6. One of the Screws sets the Idle this is usually the bigger of the two. The other screw is the mixture. Usually turning the idle screw in until the revs drop to an acceptable level will sort out any problems. The Mixture screw regulates the air/fuel mix. I'd be a little careful on this but it's the one one at 3 1/2 turns it sounds as tho it's a little far out. Turn adjusting it starting at 1 and a 1/2 turns out. Basically adjust until the bike doeesn't stall at idle and picks up cleanly when you need it too. Then remember the settings. I was discussing this with another Dad on Sunday and he's found that his lads bike needed five minutes to settle and make adjustments when moving between venues depending on the height of the venue.
  7. What do you mead there "was a blind sidecar" rider. I was told He was at the Mel Harrison last week

    Gas Gas Pro

Sounds like the pipe is bent in. Check from the rear that the pipe isn't too far in. If it is GENTLY pull it out.
  9. Let's say it was a blip!! He's got a lot on with A/B trial. Forgot to mention I believe West Leeds have an "easy" course as well at Post Hill and do Beginners/novices trials as well. Just keep an eye out in TMX.
  10. Check Yeadon Guiseley, Bradford and Horsforth for the Beginners Trials All of them are holding Beginners courses in the next month. YG at Deer Park on the 8th October Just outside Bingley. Horsforth have on the next day at Tong(The Novices will be out as well so you can gauge your Progress). And the following weekend Bradford have a Beginners and Novices at Glusburn.(15th). Check the Websites. I'd also start looking at the Club events as the Clubman's course can be a little harder but not off-putting. I have to say Richmond do some "easier" trials but usually in the "Dad's and Lads" series.
  11. Depends really, Chris has run in this event since moving up to C class and it isn't an easy trial but it is for novices. Hence it will be a little more difficult than a Club Clubmans course but not into the Hard course territory. As a guide I have been in touch with the member setting the course out and providing I can get all the Observers it will be 3 laps of 14 sections. It's a very good venue and well worth a look at. Which YG club trial were you at??
  12. Where's the image? I'm using Firefox and the "Attached Thumbnails" slogan is there but no thumbnail?
  13. Suuuussshhhh it was quiet at work til 4 calls came in at once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously Kinky let your mate go first next time, letting you find out the mud was that slippy wasn't on though I did warn you!! And I'm not going to say anything about being beaten by a 13-year old(Where's that ducking quickly smilie when you need it!!). And good luck with the little un when He/She arrives. One thing I did forget. Don't forget to thank the observers when you are on the last lap. We are out there in the same weather trying to keep the scores dry and we like being appreciated.
  14. The West Leeds club use Post Hill and the web address is http://www.wlmc.fsnet.co.uk/. The event on Saturday is a club trial. If you feel adventurous there is a centre "Novice" trial at Greenhow on Sunday. Look in Trials and Motocross news for times and venues. You are right in the middle of a large number of clubs. Sites below. Remember you will need a ACU Licence (cost

    Fuel?

"Super" Unleaded is 97 RON fuel Sherco recommend 98RON fuel The only retailers selling 98 RON are Shell (Optimax) and Q8. Tesco do sell 99 RON fuel in some areas. For those not in the know Standard Unleaded is 95RON. The higher the Number the better the fuel. More energy is contained in the fuel and its anti knock(pinking) effect is improved. It does mean that it is conversely slightly "harder" to ignite tho.
  16. Had no troubles with the rack on the back of a Rover 25 however Dave Cooper's single bike trailer can be hung on a wall so cannot be that big or heavy.

Also try "running out" the fuel after a trial and make sure the Air-filter is clean and oiled.

Whats the plug look like when you pull it? the REV series has a reputation for "oiling up".
  19. Given That A and B Class need to use 125's the market should be a little better!
  20. Where is Nathan these days? I have noticed he's not been out and about much.
  21. Direct Link. I see Carli got round ok. http://www.westleeds.co.uk/Results/Results...05/wr110905.htm
  22. Spot on Kinky!!!! The Venue is also used for Yeadon-Guiseley Club trials and Bike trials so isn't always available. But normally it is and the farmer requests
