  1. Just picked up a 200 Fantic with a few issues. Sorted the HT Coil out and found an air filter boot from In Motion but I need the round cover for the air box. Where can I find one? at the moment it has a 7 inch grinding disc in place but I would prefere a plastic one.
  2. I have an early Oset 16 for my boy and the throttle response is awfull when the batteries are fresh. He rode his first oset trial yesterday and all of the other kids bikes were smooth and progressive where his was just plain uncontrollable. I have been reading that the Kelly controller might be the best option but I have also been looking at other 36V E=bike controllers available at a fraction of the price. Any thoughts?
  3. Hi guys I have just purchased the above bike and would like to slow it down a little bit until my daughter gets to grips with it. What can I do?
  4. Hi Guys, I want to purchase some gudgeon pin circlips in advance of an engine strip down, Does anyone know the gudgeon pin diameter?
  5. This thread got my goat up to start with but having looked at some of the pit bike engine budget machines I am well behind it. Brilliant stuff and in the spirit of the sport.
  6. Used a regular gas blow torch and a compressor blow off gun to clean mine. Great fun !!!!! Took a few minutes to get it going but well worth it. Basically you fire the air and the butane torch up one end of the pipe until it starts to roar. You will know when its started to work. You can then remove the gas torch but keep the compressed air on. Almost worth buy old two stroke pipes so you can do it for fun.

    Tx250 Con Rod Kit

Is it possible to obtain a con rod kit for a TX250? Thanks
  9. The very early TX250's had smaller diameter crank shaft seals on the flywheel side. 21mm rather than 22mm (or something like that)

    Fantic Air Cooled

High spec new build twinshocks have killed the class here in the southwest. Maybe mono is the way forward.
  11. My TX250 with a 156cc (200 piston) converision started knocking yesterday during a trial. It was fine when cooled down again but knocked like hell on the over run when hot. dong dong dong. Big end or piston slap?
  12. Love the MZ. is that a production machine or a home made machine?
  13. My fantic 125. This is as purchased quite a number of years ago. It now sports a period rear mudguard and a rusty exhaust + a decent pair of X11's and it gets used. No plans to restore it just yet.

    Fantic 200

The early 125's are not worth the money of the later 200's. I have a 125 however and its fine. The forks are not so good as the larger 35mm units and the power is down on the 125's (mine is a converted to 156) They are not quite as pretty but that's it. The geometry is the same with both so the early machines ride just as well. But it wont be worth the same money as the iconic 200. Still a good bike and equal or better to any other twinshock brand though.
