With Valentino going back to Yamaha, and greeted with much respect from Jorge, What will the 2013 World Championship GP look like. Dani Pedrosa will be Top Dog on the Honda team with Stefan Bradl closely in tow. But, could either of these two Non championship GP riders hold off two previous World Champions? I say NOT! My money is on Yamaha for 2013.

If Rossi stays with Ducati, I think it would only be for the Italian glory and the twighlight years he's facing. The crowd still loves him, and the cash don't hurt. He has a choice of being second on the Yamaha team, or being First on the Ducati team with 25 mil in his pocket. What would you do?

There has been much speculation this week over who will be the replacement for Ben Spies on the factory Yamaha team. I have my own thoughts of why he is leaving the team to begin with, however, should Dovi be given the chance he has been working towards with no less than 4 podiums this year? or, Is Yamaha trying to lure Valentino back as 9 time world champion to make a competetive bid along side Jorge Lorenzo for the World Championship?

Mark, it was a great event at our club. I can send you a DVD of the riders in motion, if you like.

Thanks Copey, it's about time I made a hard copy of these specs.

I too, will miss Casey Stoner on the podium each race. However, if there were ever siigns of a racer who lost the fire in his belly, it was today at Catalunya. Casey started from pole as you know, and immediately fell back to 5th without even a fight. Dani Pedrosa, brilliantly circled around Cal Crutchlow from the second row, to take the lead with Jorge Lorenzo in tow. From there on in, it looked doubtful that Stoner would be able to catch Dovi, Ben Spies, Jorge or Dani.
There is a good chance now that Jorge will regain his title, with Dani a close second, or maybe even Dovi!! He want's to prove something.
Next season 2013, is anybody's guess. I have been especially impressed with the results of Stefan Bradl, and Cal Crutchlow, although, things may take a dramatic turn when we go to a neutral track like Silverstone.

It comes with great regret today, to learn that Casey Stoner will retire at the end of this, 2012 season. One can fully understand the reasons for this decision, after 20 years at the circuit, however, his talent and expertise will be sorely missed. Only best wishes extended to him and his family, with hopes of seeing him still engaged with MotoGP in some way.

I have bought many parts from Chris, at Splatshop.co.uk with excellent results. Not only do they have a great selection, but the prices are half of what they are here in the USA.

It's normal to see bubbles in the clutch master while squeezing the lever. As long as the clutch disengages properly, no need to worry.

I want to help, but what brand of Motorcycle was that again?

I would check the Thermo-Switch in the radiator. Unplug one wire and see if the fan stops. If so, the switch may be shorted to run all the time.

Works Performance is an awsome company. I had a rear shock on a BMW for 10 years. When the bladder containing the exhausted contents and gas due to freezing, they replaced it for free with an updated model. I'd buy a WP shock for my Sherco....If they offered it.

Mat, The tenth digit has always been the model year. At least in the U.S. anyway. In 1986 it started with the letter A=86, and so forth, however, some letters were not used. I would find someone's VIN number where you can relate to as far as year and letter, and just count up from there. Hope that was helpful.

Hi Sharkbait, small world isn't it? I have lived here 33 years. I also know Doug Shore personally, but it was not from the sailing club. He was, and Is, an excellent target shooter. He was one of the best shooters at our club, until he sold his business a couple of years ago, and moved to Florida. All the best, rockyrider.

This should be, I think, the most Spectacular year in MotoGP in recent history. Correct me if I am wrong. First, we head back to 1000cc engines, something that has been missing in the horsepower department. Then, We have changed riders in different team positions. Also, will Ducati make a come back to a front Row when Casey and Nicky dominated the field? Finally, will Honda with, Casey, Dani, and not Dovi, be the survivors of the 2012 MotoGP World Championship?. Give me your best estimation.

Actually, Chewy, a prominent Trials Central member, offers a Wide range of CNC fabricated foot pegs for a nominal fee. It would be worth your while to look him up on TC members. Best...

LQQKING forward to another great season. Especially with the introduction of an all 4 stroke line up. MotoGP.com has given us the best video coverage, ever.

The last race of this seasons MogoGP I think you'll agree was spectacular. Just when we thought Casey would run away with a 10 second lead on Dani, Dovi, and Ben, it started to rain, hard. That race for second looked like, and for 3rd in world championship, it would never end. With at least a half dozen exchanges between Dani and Dovi, while Ben was just waiting to pounce on any mistake, it really looked like it was all set in stone. Until the last five laps, in the pouring rain, would anyone believe that Ben would pass both Dovi and Dani to shrink that 10 second lead that Casey had? only to pass him? Ben would have really deserved that win, but for that little fifteen thousanths at the end. Congratulations to Casey Stoner for a spectacular, come back season.

Hi Jason, Welcome to the world of Trials. There are many great brands available to you, however, if you choose the Sherco brand, you will be able to buy part and accessories directly from a 6 time national champion. Ryan Young products is out of Kentucky and can help you on any level. They are courteous and really well stocked, a Sherco brand Trials bike is worth a look. Good Luck

Alex, make sure the petcock is turned on to open or reserved. Next, drop the bowl off the carb and see if the fuel runs freely. It may be that the needle valve is stuck. If so, spray a little carb cleaner into the needle and seat to free up any residue that may have accumulated. Good Luck

Rob, You won't go wrong with a Sherco 250. I have had one now for almost 2 years. I am also a new rider. This bike has all the low end you'll ever need, and is easy to ride, also well balanced. I find it to be a minimum of maintenance involved keeping in shape every week. Be aware that a larger engine, i.e. 290cc, may be a larger handful to handle. Best of luck.
