  1. Hi, I've been riding twin shock since they were all there were, and more recently modern pogo sticks. I have decided that I need to get the cub I have squirreled away up and running. I know of companies such as Armac and upb, but names like Allan Witton and Max Heyes, Ray Small etc etc, keep cropping up here and there. Is there a place that I am missing? Where I can get contact details for these sort of people? Cheers Trev.
  2. I hear the sound of more bling being bought! Just remember you can't polish carbon fibre
  3. Sad to hear of Donald's passing. He was one of the huge influences in getting me into sidecars many moons ago. A true Yorkshire gentleman! Sid & Dick's sidecars are just a good memory now. I hope you find a good passenger where ever you are now. RIP. Trev.
  4. Hi, The gas in them is nitrogen not air, and unless you drain the intact one you won't know how much oil should be in there. I would return them to Robin, you will get a rebuild with new seals etc fresh oil and a recharge of nitrogen. I would get some proper brass hexagonal Schrader caps and do them up with a spanner. Or amputation at the wrist would also do it ;-) Cheers Trev
  5. Hi, It's not daft at all! You use your normal 7/8" grips on fat bars as the part of the bar you grip is smaller than the FAT middle part! Hope that helps. Cheers Trev.
  6. Hi Lee, Your inbox seems to be full, it won't let me send you a PM, I will be up in Manchester soon, so could divert over to North Wales without too much hassle. Cheers Trev.
  7. Hi Lee, I have sent you a PM, I might be able to help you out! Cheers Trev.
  8. Hi Jon, Well done to you and all your team, A cracking trial, I enjoyed every moment of it, well all except my unplanned swimming lesson in section 7. Yep the water was cold. To everyone who didn't make it, ya missed a good un! Cheers Trev.
  9. Hi I have used "A J Philpott's in Luton in the past, I'm sure that's how it's spelt! They were quick and did a good job. I think they advertise in rags like classic bike/MCN etc. Cheers Trev.
  10. Hi, I'll go along with those sentiments too. I only rode day one, but will be back for more next year, Thanks to all who put themselves out to provide such a first class event. Cheers Trev.
