sectionone
Does it help? I've heard people say it's useless and they wire it always wide open. If it at least helps reduce unburnt gas at low rpms that would be good. If it's totally useless can the parts be removed to save weight? lee harris
I have a 95 section which I stripped and rebulit. The power valve was stuck open. I have tried the rebuilt engine with it running (connected) and with it wide open and I am convinced it helps. The Powervalve only opens (when connected) at fairly high revs so removing it would loose you low end straight away. Couldnt test it on a dyno though... In most cases the cable seizes which is why people then think the powervalve does nothing. If you want to test the effectivness make sure all is free and working propoerly HTH Lee
