rev`er
Hi guys, at a recent trial i hit my footrest of a rock and bent the bracket, when i came back from practise the other day, it was annoying me because it was bent down and back so my foot would fall off when i hit something or if the footpeg was full of mud, so i took it off to notice a huge split down one of the arms which the bolt goes through to attach it to the frame then when i took it right off it just snapped!! Can you weld brocken brackets or do i need a new one if so how much are they?? cheers chris
beta boy
just buy a new set 30 quid approx for the set from bvm moto my mate snapped the braket off and ripped a chunk out of the frame where the bolt goes through

beta-boy
I've welded cracks in peg mounts but if it snapped a piece clean off i think it would be safer to get a new one, unless you have extreme faith in your welding capabilitys or the welder
techno98
do not by the footpeg brackets from bvm moto. their made out of real soft metal and bend easier than the standard ones. they come with little strentghening bits welded on at the side which just snap off cos their welded on with little things that look like snot. your better off just bending back the original ones and having little triangles welded on by a proper welder.
