fordson major
Right then, feel a bit of a prat for asking this BUT... How do I change the fork oil on my 2006 Beta? Quick replies appreciated as I've already drained it and am planning on riding tomorrow Cheers Rob Edited September 5, 2006 by Beta120690
pa.
Go to my website www.trialsport.com.au and download the owners manual for the Rev 3. Go to page 54 and 55 for all the details.
fordson major
What I forgot to say was that I had already done the oil change but the forks feel far too soft. That's what made me wonder whether I had done the job properly but I think I have so I don't what's causing this?
barrybaines
What grade oil did you use? do you know what grade was in there before? just a thought
fordson major
Beta UK say to use 5 grade so that's whats been put in. Also when I said before about the forks being way too soft, the pre-load and damping adjustments are at there hardest/slowest and the bike is un-rideable. barrybaines
my only suggestion and what i`d do is to slowly go back through the steps of how you put them together in reverse checking all the circlips and springs etc are seated correctly
