Guest Scottie
sorry folks for not getting all the replies sent out, had a bit of a bug and things fell behind. So far everything is going well. There will be an update in the tmx next week although it was meant to happen several weeks ago. Anyone got any questions? bubba
I had promised to take my kids to spectate at this round of the championship, but this clashes with a clay pigeon shooting competition, so I was wondering if there was any practice for the riders on the Saturday that I could take them to watch instead? If so does anyone know any times etc? Many thanks.
Guest Scottie
The practise is from 4-6pm on the Sat afternoon. All very welcome. sandra
bubba
Sandra, Thanks very much for the quick reply. That'll keep me out of trouble and the kids happy. Thanks again.
Guest Scottie
My hubby used to do clay pidgeon shooting, bikes are better?
the artist formerly known as ish
I thought shooting clays was expensive, shooting bikes must cost a ton

Guest Scottie
He shot for the Scottish Team and is still a very good aim! Then kids came along - bikes took over and now you are talking real money!! Edited September 14, 2006 by Scottie
bigwig
Unfotunately the Wiggies have decided not to go to the Scottish round this year as it would put us behind in our preparations for Spa next weekend. Also there is a YMSA round a lot closer to home and feel we should also support them as from D class onwards their exellent events have been a great stepping stone to success. We wish "THE SCOTTIES" a great days sport and feel sure their event will be laid out to the usual high standard down by the Loch. Sorry we can't be with you. Yours in Sport-== Team Wiggy. bubba
Sandra, Kids are certainly more expensive than bikes or guns. Only thing is, my kids are growing up wanting bikes and guns! (My 5 year old has a Beta Mini Trial and the 2 year old thinks it's his) Shooting is an expensive game, especially now that I've blamed my old gun for my poor results and talked the long suffering Mrs Bubba into giving me funds for yet another gun. Might have to try that theory with her about my Gas Gas that's sitting gathering dust in the garage with the Harley. Your husband must have been pretty good to represent the Scotland Shooting Team. I would only say I was an average shot hitting approx 75% of Sporting/DTL targets. Anyway must start getting ready to go and see the practice. Andy
I'm still awaiting results, but know Sandra will do what she can to get them through. If what you've said is right then good on Shaun - he was riding very well today from what I saw and good on Dibs too.
