2fargone
Big John, what do they call the special bronze coloured coating that the magnesium casings have on them them and how is it applied? 2fargone
Blimey! I know that Electron (similar material to magnesium) used on racing AJS crankcases and casings were "argenised" but that was a graphite coloured finish. I don't know how they coated magnesium casings. Big John Sorry I know it was a stupid question but I just did'nt think the cases were painted I always thought it was some kind of special coating put on to protect the magnesium.
