barnesy
I'd love to have a go at an enduro just need someone to loan me a bike! Saw David Knight in the Scott last year, he seemed to bounce off every rock and he was reving the nuts of his Scorpa whereas Jarvis and Colley just floated up every section. I think he fived every section I saw him on, fair play to him though for having a crack at it. Looking at how well Graham Jarvis and Waybe Braybrook have done at Enduro looks like its easier to go from Trials to Enduro than the other way! ham2
Yep , a mate of mine did his first enduro (Yamahah tt250?) last year (Leeds area) and was disappointed???!!! because the observed parts of the course were so technical ''just like one of your bloody trials'', he said . He agreed that the day was won-or-lost on these sections. Should have paid attention when he was out with me On the subject of 'paid' I think the entry fee was very ,very expensive (compared to trials) and so was the consumables tally by the end of the day i.e. fuel and a full set of brake pads, nevermind transport costs for a 200 mile round trip. Us 'stand-ups(comedians)' as he calls us, have got it cushy in comparison
ikb
Yes I have I did enduros about 10 years ago, harder work , less sociable, always have to enter in advance, but good fun and I did win some medals. I have never won anything at trials!!!

scorpa3
Cirencester fun enduro is a laugh. Set off in fours at minute intervals. Complete a number of special tests over three laps in the morning, then ride the same course without the special tests for six laps in the afternoon. I think it is organised by the Swindon club. ladytrialer
never done an enduro but would if the oppertunity arose. i used to have an rm 250 crosser that me and my 12 yr old nephew used to blast round the fields of the bloke i work for, most enjoyable if it wasnt so expensive id have a bash. the annoying problem of not being able to reach the floor whilst on m x bikes is a bummer also
