big john
Yes, I spent a lot of time in your garage looking to those "things" you store there. Do you know what this guy stores there?? I will tell you; Matchless and beer

big john
whaddya mean bought it Er... Actually Slapshot is quite right. I got that boiler suit/coverall from a chap who worked off-shore, in fact I still wear it and the chest monogram does not have my name on it at all! greeves
Here is my last restoration project just finished this weekend. It has taken me over 2 years to complete it, as this bike is almost made of spare parts. I just had engine and frame, and all the other has been build up from parts. The complete exhaust was a present from a friend. Airbox a spare I had from a 151, forks bought in the internet....... carb. is a new Keihin (perhaps the most expensive part I have bought for this bike), wheels bought in a classic bike show, sidestand from a 199A...... Engine with a new electronic ignition, clutch, piston and the transfers made to make more "explosive". I am quite happy with it after making the first sections this weekend. Last photo is a footrest macro in their modified position. Edited January 20, 2008 by Greeves
big john
Hola Snr. Greeves! Wonderful and the airbox you have used on this bike is the one that Comerfords riders used because it worked better than the standard (later type) for the 198/199. Lovely, I will have a ride on this when I come over in May unless you have sold it by then! Look below, it reminds me of my best rides on a Bultaco from 1977/78, I do not have the hairstyle now! greeves
I think B.E. will be using it at Robregordo, as he wants a 250.
