gregd
Thought I'd have a go at enduro and bought a 1996 Yamaha WR200. Does anybody know what ration of oil to petrol I should be using, the guy I bought it from said 30:1 but this sounds a bit rich to me. I would go 50-1, but for safety try what he said first if he has owned the bike for a while he should know!
ahamayfrank
I have always used mix ratios based on the oil manufacturers recommendation and the type of riding application. For example I mixed Golden Spectro Oil or Duralube Oil at 50 to 1 in my Yamaha YZ125 or YZ250 off road bike but mixed the same oil at 70 to 1 in my GG300 Pro. In general Trials applications can run a much leaner fuel to oil ratio than off road or MX bikes. Frank
brian r
Hey Frank, What ratio are you mixing your new bike at?
ahamayfrank
Unleaded Premium straight up in the SYF, Same Same in the WRF, Diesel in the Sprinter, Yamalube 2cycle oil injected in the AT3 and RZ500. And South Paw Light in the pilot of all the above! Frank
