bdmc
Clubman??? What is a clubman. Looking at the Lakes 2 day results the majority of the top 20 on the Clubman route were Inter or Exp in thier own Centres. Are they pot hunting?? In many post the quiestion has been asked What standard do you have to be to be a Clubman. No one yet has come up with an answer. Before anyone suggests this is not an ACU problem, the clubs running these type of events have to sort it out some how. I hope that Wrighty keeps it o one course. It is a great trial. paioli
someone who buys there own bike and bits gets to and from the event and pays there own entry fees in other words someone who has to go to work monday morning to pay for there weekends sport and does not want to hurt themselves on the hard route. the addict
Clubman, any rider who does nt fancy the hard route, its as simple as that these days. The step between the hard route and clubman route is so big these days the choice is easy for most of us. Its not trophy hunting at all, some hard routes like the Lakes are well above what centre Experts are capable of doing without getting hurt or not enjoying the trial. We are travelling 3 hours on Sunday to a North Trial and will be doing the 50-50 route, dont want to turn up and go home on the first lap because its beyond me.
