not ron
I am trying to rebuild a pair of betor dampers which I think came from a late Bultaco 340. Does anyone know the amount of oil and viscosity, and if there is any chance of getting new seals?
gbmoto
A local bearing supplier should be able to supply the seals, just take the old ones along to get the size, Wyko (all over UK) are local to us and have never failed, also good for bearings(!) Generally cheaper than from a motorcycle supplier too. As long as you have a pattern they have sorted mountain bike bearings too, again much cheaper. Also old established motorfactors (who are not obsessed with part numbers) can often sort stuff out.
not ron
Big John, not ridden much since Scotland, too much work. The dampers are not really important they are on a Majesty I hardly use and I lent them to a mate to use for one event on a C15, as on a quick check they looked the closest match of any I had. I have heard mixed feedback on the new betors so decided to give them a miss. Still not long to Scotland again, see you there, not surprising no offers to ride the other bike.
