brian r
It'll be interesting to see if Guatamala brings in more fans than last years World Round at TTC. I honestly thought we'd have more people than we did.
cota kid
Found the following 2007 indoor dates on another website. Knowing Octagon they will be nothing but provisional. 06/01 To determine - 13/01 Granada Spain 20/01 St. Petersburgo Russia 27/01 Marseilles France 04/02 Barcelona Spain 10/02 Lisbon Portugal 17/02 Milano Italy 24/02 To determine - 10/03 Buenos Aires Argentina 17/03 Madrid Spain 2 rounds to be determined and 3 rounds held in Spain. Why isn't Sheffield being classed as a round, when they are so obviously struggling for venues?

Andy
Are the TDN and Ladies champs dates right for IOM 27th Sept is a Thursday? (date shown on todotrial) That's the date the FIM has given as I've got the same date. Probably Ladies World Friday, Ladies TdN Sat and Mens TdN Sun as per this year. uhoh7
I was also shocked to see no US venue. Did TTC not want to do another? Guatemala is one of the great tragic stories of the 20th century. Without the United Fruit Company and some typically stupid foriengn policy, it would be one of the great tourist destinations in the world today. Instead it lumbers along with masses of disposesed indigneous, rampant kidnappings, corruption etc. Antigua, however, is safer than most US cities and always full of travellers and spanish language students. Back in my traveling days I spent quite a bit of time there. It is great to see an event at Antigua, and I would not want it removed to do another US--rather a US event might be added.... But I am really curious as to who came up with the central american venue and who will be doing the ground logistics.
