skid Posted November 3, 2006 Report Share Posted November 3, 2006 Noob going to look at an 02 sherco 2.9. tomorrow. Original owner was a senior b rider,current owner did a little trialing and playing. Ive been poking around the net to see what i can dig up on these bikes. I came across a few threads about sherco's spinning the mains. Would this pertain to this model and vintage?? Is it something to be concerned about when looking at shercos or just "talk on the net"? kinell Posted November 3, 2006 Report Share Posted November 3, 2006 I had 2000 bike and the mains were in poor shape but I think Sherco fixed the problem by 2002'ish. When my bike was warmed up, I could shake it from side to side and hear the crank sliding and banging off the casings!
