Advice

I am on the verge of buying a new bike but could do with some advice to help me decide.

Am looking for something that would be fairly handy at bike trials (only practise mind you) but would also be able to go out with the g/f at weekends for a cycle along the old railway lines nearby.

Is there such a dual purpose type of bike???

Any help would be good.

Cheers

Try buying a stock trials bike it is a mountian bike modified for trials just raise the seat up and you have your trail bike, minus the 2 extra gears in the front. There are lots of stock trials bikes in the uk for a good price , try

You can also get a diamondback mod or stock trials off of www.ebay.co.uk, never tried them being uk only, but was told they take one hell of a beating for the pound\dollar\euro whatever eh?

I got a small framed GT palomar with all the gears on it. I've done a bit of trials, jump, cross-country and road on it. Not brilliant for trials but I can do every type of sport on it to a certain degree.
