kinell
Seen this yet? http://www.trialscentral.com/cms/showartic...?articleID=2645 It looks like Beta will soon be selling a 4 banger, will it be a borrowed engine from the likes of KTM or will it be a completely new home-grown motor? New frame with a separate fuel tank or built in as now? When will it be on sale? Out in time for the SSDT maybe? How much will it cost and more importantly, will it match the Mont in terms of solid build and reliability? I reckon it will as they've taken their time and not rushed the bike out like Sherco did for the SSDT in 04 (or was it 05?) Can't wait to see some piccy's

mad4it
That will be something to look forward to ,i would not be surprised to see if it had a suzuki derived motor as they have ties with not only KTM but suzuki for a number of years. barrybaines
What I heard was it was their own motor and nobody is too know till Friday when it`s revealed at the show but hey you all know anyway, rumour has it, it will be running alongside the 2t bike for as long as they can rather than being a replacement
dougie pumpkin
Its not a rumour that it will run alongside the 2 stroke , its fact as per John Lampkin and it is a Beta's own engine not a derivative of something else, its also not fuel injected but has a carb thats all the info there is until the launch . steve
Wow, can't wait to see some pictures. Beta have traditionally been pretty good when it comes to releasing a new model. The Zero was revolutionary when launched but Jordi had been riding a prototype for a year in World rounds. Same for the Techno when Colomer rode it. spud
It will be a fantastic bike - not bothered about the carb - am bothered to know if its light weight, produces better power than the 270 rev-3 - doesn't cost the earth - looks good.
