beta-boy Posted November 12, 2006 Report Share Posted November 12, 2006 i've noticed the footpegs on my 06 are gradually getting more and more beat up and i was just wondering if anyone out there knows of aftermarket gaurds that you can buy so you don't bend and smash up your peg mounts, or if anyones made some? telecat Posted November 16, 2006 Report Share Posted November 16, 2006 (edited) NYL managed to knock one of his off completley at Bracken Rocks so am familiar with the problem. Also believe that others have done it as well. There is not an easy solution as the peg mounts are welded to the frame and protecting them could make the bike "ground" easily.
