telecat
Yep always oil it. Even applies in dry weather where the Dust can cause you problems if it gets into the cylinder. As for patience I had problems getting the filter in the first couple of times but seem to "have the knack" now!
nigel dabster
some people do it easier with their left hand others like me who take the airbox off a fair bit do it then. My best solution is to carefully remove the wing nut from the thread, cut through weld, and replace with a knob. some people do it easier with their left hand others like me who take the airbox off a fair bit do it then. I Always oil and use the proper stuff it is sticky for a reason.
paul w
always clean and oil with proper filter oil after every ride, best way is to have two or three filters, that way you can remove the dirty one and replace immediately with a clean oiled one. perce
Old codger's off senile He is right though, far easier to put the air filter in left handed when the airbox is on the bike. It is an aquired knack though.
