peter_gasgas
Been havin a few running problems with the sherco lately.... reckon its the carb so I'm gonna take her apart this week and try some new settings. What can you guys recommend? What about fitting a keihin? anyone done it on a stock 06 290?? would it go as nicely as the cabes rep? Thanks in advance. copemech
Here at about 700 ft(250m) above sea level, I run a 35/118 setup with the needle 3rd down from top(Dellorto). Adjust the mix screw every ride upon temps. Have not put the Kiehin on the '06, but the same basics should apply. Needs to be set for the Sherco with around 45/125 in the jets and JJH needle as I recall. May try an "07 with it before long. Hope that helps.
