skid
http://youtube.com/watch?v=r5LfntxWQp4&...ted&search= You trials guys should get a kick out of this. Enduro riders giving some big trees thier best shot. I'm curious if there is an actual technique that would work getting over those monsters on an enduro bike. The one guy that tried to bounce the front wheel off and then do the same with the rear tire went pretty damn high and while he did land it. He almost went over the bars in a bad way!! That technique may work if there was a kicker just in front of the log. but there weren't any kickers that i could see. On top of that a knobby won't grab hold of the tree like a trials tire. Even if you do manage to launch the bike right, the rear knob may spin/slid out killing the deal right there. If there were no go around I think i would use a modified bubba scrub technique. Basically get the bike up on the tree sitting on the skid plate then lay it on it's side and get the rear tire to go over and let the bike plop down on the ground parallel to the tree trunk. mount up and ride off.
