Does anyone know what the deal is with the rev 3 rear mudgaurd and a number plate as the rear mudgaurd has that upswept bit at the end not that it makes much differece to my older rev 3 as the mudgaurd was that high you couldn`t see the reg number anyway. But is there any sort of leagal reqiurement.

I can't find the legal requirment for the angle of a rear number plate, but the size and spacing of the numbers is very specific.

It is clear that to meet the letter (pun intended) of the law, there is no way you can mount your trials bike plate directly on the mudguard. Unless you have a personal plate with just one letter on it!

Click here for legal specs of no plates.
