skid
Non trials rider wondering if the ledge/rock in the following pics would make a good practice rock. It is actually in the middle of a 120 unit apartment complex that i run. I also live on site and keep my bikes on site. The one thing i wonder about is I would have to be nice to the lawn areas around the ledge. I'm wondering how the grass might stand up or if i'd get bored because i would have to be easy on the grass and couldn't really utilize the area. 2nd pic is a little bigger to get a better idea of the rock A little over exposed but the face on this side is about 2 foot sheer. Total height of rock is about 3 1/2 maybe 4 foot from the pavement Rock has several 1 to 2.5 foot sheer faces. Good practice for steps!! vintagecota
Looks like a pretty good paractice rock for my 10yr old son on his TY80. But too small for my 12yr old on my old Cota 123 Edited November 28, 2006 by vintageCota
austini
Any rocks a good practice rock you just have to shorten your run up to match your ability, i'd be more concerned about upsetting the neighbours using those rock though, not a good image for the sport!!!!!!
