I have noticed several used Cabys for sale both in the U.S., and abroad. I am curious to hear rider comments from current owners. Is it true the '07 Shercos carry many of the Caby features as standard?

Yes - "New chassis, with geometry as a direct by-product of the official motorcycle ridden by Albert Cabestany...."

Cabestany spec vs 2007

Adj shock - yes

Wave brake discs on both wheels - yes

New chassis geometry - yes

Shorter rear swing arm - yes but lighter and profile changed

New foot peg location - yes

New Handlebar bend stamped Cabestany - different, now has fatbar marked Sherco/Neken (no crossbar)

450cc larger capacity fuel tank - yes but thicker skinned

New cylinder head configuration - yes but different to Caby replica

New shorter exhaust header pipe - yes

New Keihin PWK Carburetor - no fitted with PHBL26BS Dellorto

New Albert Cabestany Graphics - some red but no Caby name on rear mudguard

In addition 07 has billet triple clamps, rear disk guard, and chain/boot guard.

The 07 and Cabs now weigh the same 69.5kg
