chrisl Posted December 16, 2006 Report Share Posted December 16, 2006 Why does the clutch do this? is it because there's some oil on the plates? Then as the plates spin it just gets flicked off? Also, would putting it in gear when cold - pulling clutch lever in - then easing kickstart over gently (rather than rocking the bike) be better/worse and slower/quicker. look where your pointing it....very true.........had an incident with washing line personally Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mad4it Posted December 16, 2006 Report Share Posted December 16, 2006 Yeh last year my mate got his beta out of the van ready for the start of the lakes fired it up and let it warm while putting his lid on,put it into gear the clutch was stuck and proceded to wheelie off straight into the brand new van he had borrowed scratching all the paintwork on it and ending up in a heap on the floor right in front of a load of people me and my mate p*****d ourselves!
