Might be a good time for the 4T brigade to wake up. The 4RT is too bl**dy loud.

:agree: But it's only too loud as peeps insist on removing all the baffles so they can make it sound like Dougies :D (on that note, The FIM should do something about the noise and set a better example )

The Sherco, Scorpa & Beta aren't though :xmas:

The other manufacturers are bringing out four strokes as well but how many are easier to ride than the two stroke?

I can honestly say that the 4T was easier to ride than the 2T for my level (novice) . Because when I ride, I try and ride as smooth as possible and I found the 4T to be more forgiving and complements this style of riding. Others who are ripping it up may find the 2T more suitable.

...but i'm quite happy for Cabby and Raga to stay on the two strokes and for the rest of us to pay

Montesa won the 2006 Factory WTC and Fujigas had more wins that Raga. I reckon if Fujigas wasn't carrying an injury at the start of the seasons then he would have won. What this prooves is that the 4RT is competetive with the 2 strokes.

Bou joining Montesa HRC is the best move, so far, in his trials career. Not many riders manage to make a good living from trials and certainly not enough to retire from. At some point Bou will be a World Champion, regardless of what factory he rides for. In the meantime he may as well collect a bigger wage packet.

As regards Caby, he always comes across as being a quiet unasumming rider, bags of talent, Sherco keeping him is a very good move.

Raga allowed Fuji the wins because he had such a strong lead and knew if he took is easy and not hurt himself then he'd be champion again. When Raga wants to ride he shows the rest what a rider and bike can do. A caluculated win and good enough to sesl the win at mid way through the season. Fuji rode his heart out all season but didn't get enough practise in at the start. The montesa is realiable and a well deserved win in the manufacturers championship, would have been a lot more coverated if we were talking the a world rally manufacturers championship.

Bou moves may in the short term pay but in the long term he will look back and say "should have stayed with Beta and had a bit less money but would have won the championship in 2007". we remember titles but not money and money is easily spent whereas a title would stay with Bou forever.

Do you think they would have won if they didn't have Dougie and Fuji ?

Honda are just soooooooo far ahead of any other team in relation to technical & financial support that its hardly suprising. They should win the title every year and I bet they are p****d they didn't win the championship as well! Its a bit like the MUFC . In the past they EXPECTED to win every year as they had the best players and the best manager and they had the money!

Now Chelsea have come along, they now have the most dosh and the best manager and are doing preeeeety good

In some sports you can buy success and Trials is one of them,

Bou joining Montesa HRC is the best move, so far, in his trials career.

I think its a bit early to say that. Only time will tell :(

IMHO :D

Buy success in trials.....................What a load of B*****ks.

The money, the factory back up and the bike may help but trials ultimately is down to a riders ability, hard work and dedication.

Has Doug bought 7 World titles?

As for Spud's statement about Raga allowing Fuji the win, that also is a load of absolute B*****ks. If that was the case why did he lodge an appeal about Fujigas's win in Poland? Also Raga did not seal the series half way through it, it went to the last round in Belgium.

I think some people have been hitting the Xmas Sherry a bit early this year.

You start your reply with the first line saying a load of bollox, then you follow it up with a contradiction by saying, the money, the factory back-up and the bike may help.... :D

That is what I was saying  Honda has the money and if they bought Dougie,Fuji,Raga and Bou they would win every year. Thats what I mean when I say you can buy success !

Did I miss something :(

I don't think I contradicted myself. Money does play a part but it simply does not buy success thats still down to the rider. I have a the best bike, IMHO, all the riding gear, a D Zign helmet and I'm still *****.. So I'm walking proof money doesn't buy success.

I was also very surprised I could say B*****ks....

B*****ks.

Funny that. You can't type the name of a steel producing town in Lincolnshire, but you can say B*****ks.

B*****ks.

Is the same dream world where Raga lets Fujigas win and has the WTC sewn up half way through the series.

I'm not surprised you can smell bull, your full of it.

Andy

there are some things I just cannot accept.

COTA KID is not a geordie, he seems a canny bloke when I met him recently but he's from Teeside.

Geordies are from Newcastle or more generally Tyneside and are known to say Whyaye, you got that bit right.

have a canny christmas hinney
