telecat
Cos you can get much closer that's why! Its also very easy to talk to the riders and providing you don't pester them going into or in a section they are glad to chat back. Not many sports you can do that in let alone get to the best in them.
superflytx270
Outdoors definetely cos you can relate to some of the obstacles on your own outings and just stand in awe as they make your lifelong ambition section look like childs play! The indoor thing on telly is ok to show the wife the art of the sport and to say " you see my love if i had the same bike as him i could probably do the same how about we put that new kitchen on hold for now " The outdoor trials are just pure back to nature and the roots of trialling and just a joy to watch these phenomenal machines conquer natural obstacles, while you say " ya see those motocross boys dont know what their missing"
dfwilson
Never actually seen an indoor trial. Have only seen Tommi Ahvala do his indoor show. It was a great show. We got to meet Tommi. He is a great ambassador for the sport.
social climber
I was at Bangor Co Down last year, and some of those sections were every bit as spectacular as any indoor section. I also believe that the skill involved outdoors is much greater as indoors they don't have to deal with mud!!!! ( I f ing HATE mud....). Also the uniformity of the surfaces indoor are bound to be easier to anticipate than, for example, a stream bed where rocks and obstacles are unseen or moving around under the wheels. Finally, indoors you don't have rain or wind to deal with. Drumkeeragh forest at the w/e was a nightmare. So windy it blew the visor right off my new lid!!!
