taylo63
Hi All...I wondered if someone could provide some advice please. The right fork seal on my 98 315r is leaking again after it was replaced only about a year ago. Since then it has only done about 15 trials... There are no scratches or dinks on the slider.... Are these forks easy to dismantle and check. The last time it was replaced it was done by my local Trials shop so I don't think it has been botched... Any thoughts ideas would be much appreciated. fantic156
Best bet is to get hold of a copy of the manual it takes you through it step by step, but it is relatively straightforward. One thing I can add as a idea is to use a piece of 1 1/2 waste pipe (from a plumbers merchant) as a drift to seat the new seal, it works a treat. neil king
More than likely there is dirt or sand in the seal and it only needs to be cleaned. I use paper business cards to clean mine.
