ghankerson
My friend's 03 Rev3 started leaking oil after taking a few big hits on his last ride. He knew he needed to replace the bash plate soon, now he really does. The price here in the US is $179 for the plate and $40 for the rubber. He checked GasGas prices and the plate was only $79 from Parts Unlimited. I wonder why GasGas is so much cheaper? Anyways, does anybody have one for sale or know where he can get one at a reasonable price? Much appreciated! Greg

ghankerson
I am pretty sure it was a Pro. Not positive though.
pa.
Take the sump guard and bike to a shop with a press and bend it back into shape. The Oil will be leaking from the left hand side cover and the case. Best to get a new gasket, they are quite cheep and easy to fit. The part number for the gasket is 16.71681 The parts diagram can be downloaded here.

stuessenhigh
somewhere...(google it)..there are some really nice looking carbon ones for the Beta. They look really good, but I cant remember how much they are...something like a carbon/kevlar mix...think they were from a German shop
bob
I remember those, they were mentioned on here, might be best to search here for the link. I believe they were called 'glide' plates, perhaps best for a light rider. Bob
