scoobie
Hi, Is the above a good bike for a begginner (13st)? Any known faults; things to look out for? Cheers,
bikespace
I'm guessing you're adult age. I've got nothing but good things to say about Sherco really as I've had a stormer. I don't want to sell it because it's too reliable. Probably not what any manufacturer intends these days??? The scare mongerers would say watch the main bearings, but don't see too many with problems. I think it should be OK for you. You may like to add a slow pull throttle just to calm her down a bit. Clean the airbox and drop off the float bowl every week - 15 minute job - well worth it. My starter for ten anyway - no doubt loads with their little bit to chip in hopefully. copemech
The '05 2.5 was my fav of all! The finest of its chromed framed breed! May be softened to suit a novice or the standard rigging will suit most experts! Once again, the Boyesen reeds work wonders as the 2.5 seems to soften up more than a 2.9 making it quite gentle off the bottom. Sweet!
