blocky
Please forgive me for such a dumb ass question but i've just replaced the crankshaft seals on my TX250 (Minarelli engine) and for the life of me i can't work out where to refil the gearbox with oil. I can see what may be a filler cap near where the clutch cable pivots but i'm reluctant to force it because its only plastic and is more than finger tight. Thanks
lee harris
Yep thats it, on the top near to the clutch cable holding boss. If you bu%&er it or use another screw, make sure it has a breather hole in it or you will damage the crank seals as the crank cases cannot vented if there is no hole. lee
chris morris
Remove the oil level plug circled in the pic lay the bike on its side and fill it thro' there or remove the four screws on the polished clutch cover and pour directly into there. I feel so dumb too, dont think your on about a gasgas tx250 are you. Edited January 8, 2007 by Chris Morris
