social climber
I just bought one of these before I entered the Sandown trial outside belfast on 20th of March. It was a horrendous day, really windy and wet, but the jacket kept me dry and relatively draught free ( I say relatively cos it was windy enough to blow the visor clean off my helmet, I was bound to get a draught from somewhere. These jackets are made of a medium weight cordura so they are not too heavy, and look like they will take a lot of punishment. They have a mesh lining for comfort and two poppered pockets ( not very secure though...) and I found it had more than enough freedom of movement for riding the sections. I would even ride an enduro in this cos it's cut quite large and there would be plenty of room for chest / elbow protection under it. Best of all, it costs 25 quid from BBBikeshop. Have a look, http://www.bbbikeshop.co.uk/acatalog/Cub_C...de_Jackets.html I think it's a definite alternative to Lycra for some of us with a more 'muscular' frame.
