rapid roy
I need to grease the rear linkage every 3 weeks / 3 trials Any longer the back end squeaks Hopefully this is not the norm Is there grease that would stay on a little bit longer? Cheers
drhud
I just went through the same problem. After greasing the linkage, the squeaks came back rather quickly. Mike at RYP suggested greasing the bushings in the shock. They are pain the neck to get out, but that solved the problem, no more squeaks!! I used waterproof grease, they also suggested adding a little moly based grease.
scorpa3
I remember stripping the rear linkage down on a brand new 2000 Bultaco Sherco before I'd even ridden it and there was no grease what-so-ever around the bushes. Always worth a look before it's too late!
sherco250cc
Hi I use Halfords Cycle grease,it comes in a little tube and is qhite expensive but is deffinately worth the money as it lasts ages and the jet wash does not wash it all out when you wash it Thanks Tom Edited January 25, 2007 by Sherco250cc
