ticket2ride
Hey Guys, The last couple of rides out, the bike's been running awful, not ticking over etc... Each time I've got it home, plug out - and it's jet black & sooty... I know this usually means it's running too rich - but, I've got it at 80:1 premix, the air screw turned out 3 3/4 turns and running a 108/34 jet set-up...2nd up from the bottom on the needle... I know this isn't the standard jetting - the guys at Sandifords said it's just a bit snappier of an option...but, I'm wondering whether I need to wind the air screw out a bit more then the recommended settings due to this jet change? The other thing I'm not sure about is blocking the rear mudguard airbox holes off?...I've done this too (with gauze), so not sure if again I'm restricting air flow? Anybody got any experience of running this jetting and how to set the air screw? Cheers,
