Dry Fouling Plugs?

okay,

...anybody any ideas on causes of this?

...running too rich I think is one cause - are there any other things worth considering?

...didn't even manage a lap today - before brand new plug got so bad the bike started to misfire.....the bike was running really smokey too....even with the correct premix ratio?

..I think my head may explode..!!

remove carb and fully strip, all jets out ect. using compressed air blow all jets through. pay particular atention to the small holes in the belmouth. clean air filter. new spark plug. 99 time out of a hundred that the problem, mind you theres always the hundreth time to consider!!!! :D

Hey,

Yep - running the recommended BPR6ES....

I'm wondering whether it could be the pilot jet....it's running a 36 and 108 main...

Standard is a 33 - although, some folk do use a 35.....with me spending most of the time in low throttle positions, maybe I'm choking it up a bit..well, a lot!!
