north_yorkshire_lad
I've been thinking about having my helmet painted for a long time and have finally created a design that i'm happy with . I have contacted D-zign but does anyone no where else it can be done. If you have expreience in sending your helmet off any advice would be greatly appreciated . bob
Marky Boy, who posts on here occasionally does all sorts of paint workincluding Helmets. He's round abouts Malton (between York and Scarborough). He'll probably be quite sarcastic, but helpful. look at www.wizardpaintwerx.com Bob

mil
One of the best guys in the UK for helmet painting is definately Rich Stevens of Rich Art Concepts. This guy paints for many of the British Superbike, World Superbike and Downhill guys and has done lids for Troy Bayliss etc. Think he did one for Colin McRae too. I've had one done by him and the quality is amazing. He does the designs etc for Shoei helmets too. He's based in Birmingham area and is a real good guy and will do a cracking job. www.richartconcepts.co.uk

I have given a design but would really like him to add his own stuff too it, just hope it all works out ok . Can you post your helmet to him? ps. how long does it take to complete on average?? ticket2ride
...quite a few of the guys in the Downhill mtb world use this guy: MFX Air Art Allan comes highly recommended, does some fantastic detailing work and is far more competitively priced than the other couple of helmet specialists. The other bonus is his lead time - you don't have to wait 2 months to get your lid in! Drop him a line and let him know the guys from Ticket2ride sent you in his direction...I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at just what can be done for a good price... ...enjoy....
