tone
I have an 07 250 but am really struggling to get the carb set up right,. The symptoms are as follows: Start of a trial it will run well until it gets really hot when it then appears to run lean by pinking and hunting for fuel. To give an exact example, yesterday during a Trial the bike was running fine until a muddy 3rd gear burn up steep bank which then left the bike pinking and hunting for fuel which carried on for some time. The only way I could seem to overcome it (but not completely) was to let it cool down slightly. I have tried changing the float height and adding the large Nut to the bottom of the float bowl. Any suggestions would be much appreciated? T
the addict
Tone, the float heights and extension bowl cured mine, are you sure the fan is cutting in ok when it gets hot. Easy thing to overlook, and check the water level

tone
Thanks for all your suggestions, checked out the thermostate and it would appear that mine could be a bit dodgy. Thanks Tony
