madmostin Posted February 20, 2007 Report Share Posted February 20, 2007 After buying an imaculate 250 pro i thought id freshen her up with some new plastic ware. now having called a couple of retailers ive been informed that 03 onwards seat airbox unit is different to 02. meaning if i want later style plastics i have to buy a new airbox? any body have any experiance of this? how different are the later mudguards? From memory the 03 and newer airbox/seat are much better than the 02 type. The 02 airbox has the electrics going through it and is prone to water incursion. gasgas Posted February 24, 2007 Report Share Posted February 24, 2007 I broke mine 2002 airbox and ordered a new one. They sent me a 2003 or 2004 and fitted right on. A little fiddling but nothing serious, so i assume although the airbox has changed over the 2002 model, it still has the same configuration. lukefrans85 Posted December 26, 2012 Report Share Posted December 26, 2012 hello ive just bought my Gas Gas 280 pro on a 04 which is all up together apart from the decals on tank are a little faded and want to replace full decal kit !! well doing this i thought the bike would look mint with new front and rear mudguards to finish it off can any 1 advise me where i could get front and rear in red from at resonable price any help would be great as im struggling ! thanks alot luke Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
